3rd TP - 01/09/08

I arrived at school as usual today.. I was excited for my classes. I thought I was only going to be given 4 periods (as promised last week, and as instructed by UBD, 2 - 4 periods, preferably 4) but, Lo and Behold, I have to teach 6 periods altogether. YES, 6 periods.

I know why I had to do 6 periods last Monday, because the Guru Kanan Akademik has not given me a physical schedule yet. There must have been a misunderstanding here and there. Will try to talk it over next Monday.

My TP last Monday went great though I was a bit exasperated due to confusion. I taught both Primary 4A and 4B the same topic.

I took pictures and taped something as well. I am yet to upload them all in here. As I have mentioned, the connection at my place has been going cuckoo on me, so I decided to go out this evening and abuse the WIFI at this particular cafe. But silly me, and I think it's because of my bad intentions, I forgot to bring my HDD and pendrives with me. So no pictures or videos could be uploaded as of now.

3rd TP - 25/08/08

7.05am:

(1) Arrived at SR OKBI Subok.


7.15am – 7.25am:

(1) Daily line-up.

(2) Was informed by the Guru Kanan Akademik that a subject for me to teach has already been decided and would commence next week. I will be teaching Primary 4 English for 4 periods every Monday.


7.30am – 8.00am:

(1) Substituted Primary 1A.

8.30am - 10.00am:

(1) Discussed further with the Guru Kanak Akademik regarding my subject and slots.

(2) Went to the school's resource center to search for guide and syllabus books.

(3) Visited the ICT Room and helped a teacher with IWB and Macbook.


10.30am - 11.00am:

(1) Discussed with my cooperating teacher (Cikgu Masnah) regarding my TP on Mondays.

(2) Was adviced to prepare my first English lesson for next week.

2nd TP - 18/08/08

7.00am:

(1) Arrived at SR OKBI Subok.

(2) Walked around outside the classrooms and checked on the pupils.


7.15am – 7.25am:

(1) Daily line-up.

(2) Was informed by the Guru Kanan Akademik that a schedule for me has yet to be decided and given.

(3) Given an invigilating timetable by the Guru Kanan Akademik.


7.30am – 8.00am:

(1) Invigilated Primary 1A – Read out Mental Arithmetic Questions.

8.30am – 10.00am:

(2) Invigilated Primary 5A – Maths I & Bahasa Melayu Papers. (Read out instructions)

1st TP - 11/08/08

7.00am:

(1) Arrived at SR OKBI Subok.

(2) Self-toured outside classrooms as the Guru Besar & Penolong Guru Besar were not in school.


7.15am – 7.25am:

(1) Daily Line-up.


7.30am – 8.00am:

(1) Met the Guru Kanan Akademik to discuss about my TP placement. The meeting was very brief.

The Verdict: Will have to wait until the assessment week is over.


Tasks given throughout the day:

(1) Substituted several classes from Primary 1 through 3 in the Computer Room.
(2) Substituted 2 classes at once for about an hour in the Computer Room.
